Set in 70 hectares of a wildlife reserve on the slopes of a hill near Amelia, Agriturismo Surripa is a perfect place to see animals in their natural habitat and to explore the surrounding countryside and medieval villages.  The agriturismo comprises of 2 stone cottages (one with a separate guest house) and has a large garden with shared swimming pool.  The Agriturismo is managed by Fausto and Francesca, owners of the excellent El Merendero restaurant which is a 5 minute walk away.

Situated in the olive groves near the medieval village of Lugnano, Agriturismo San Valentino farm is a wonderful place in which to explore the area or just enjoy being in the countryside.  Compriosed of four spacious and comfortable double rooms with views of the woods, the orchard and the olive groves.  Outside there is a large well kept garden and swimming pool . San Valentino produce and sell their own olive oil and are able to organise tours of the oil mill and food and wine tours.

"We were always lovers of Agriturismos", says Francesca with a big smile who along with her husband Davide left their life in Rome to set up the beautiful Agriturismo Tara a stone's throw from Amelia. There is a choice of staying in the cottage or in one of the three beautiful rooms in the main house.  The agriturismo is surrounded by seven hectares of fruit trees, olive trees, vineyards and cultivated fields. Breakfast is served in the Sala delle Spighe, where every detail has been taken care of.  There is a large swimming pool and unbelievably a small spa with sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi. The agriturismo is dog friendly.

The Agriturismo Poggio del Bolognino near the medieval village of Lugnano in Teverina, is set in the hills, pastures, woods and olive groves of the land. From the old country house, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Tiber Valley. Il Poggio del Bolognino has three apartments, one, two and three double rooms respectively, and two double rooms with private bathroom (all offering disabled access) are equipped with a safe and air conditioning. Guests have the opportunity to go horse riding,  cycling and hiking through the local area.

Constantyn and Angelika and together with our four cats and three dogs are the hosts of Casa Angelica,  also welcome every possible four-legged guest. Since 2007 Casa Angelica has three guest rooms (the detached cottage and two rooms in the main house) and they welcome other animals. They speak Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, German, English and Persian.

Il Pomario is located in one of the most beautiful rural areas of Umbria and has been open since 2011; the structure is very intimate and exclusive, has only three rooms and is surrounded by greenery. Behind it rises Mount Piglio from which it takes its name, an ideal destination for soft and hard trekking. In the property there is an olive grove and an orchard with ancient varieties of apples, pears and plums.

Agriturismo Collepina was created in 1997 by the Mattorre family. The owner, Fabrizio Mattorre is  an avid cyclist and is able to arrange both road and mountain biking. There is a pool and a small gym. The attached restaurant offers delicious local dishes and vegetarian options. The agriturismo produces its own extra-virgin olive oil and cereal crops.

Villa Regina is a stone house dating from the early 1900s, located just outside the walls of the historic centre of Amelia. It is owned and run by Rossano who has overssen the renovation, transforming this old farmhouse into comfortable and modern holiday apartments. Guests of Villa Regina can easily reach on foot the many cultural attractions that the historic center of the country offers: the Roman cisterns, the Germanicus statue, the Teatro Sociale, and the Duomo.
